Creating a clearer, faster path through a two-and-a-half-year neurodevelopmental wait

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was managing neurodevelopmental assessment demand that structurally outstripped capacity, with most referrals arriving as incomplete paper forms and each appointment starting from a blank page. Working with the Trust’s neurodevelopmental team, EnrichMyCare piloted structured family and school data collection ahead of every appointment — giving clinicians a fuller picture of the child before they walked into the room. For complex cases, that meant clinicians could diagnose in one appointment instead of up to three.
